The Brophy tie-downs were easy to install, and proved to be secure in holding my Travelite 960rx camper (2000) to my 1970 F100.

These are not safe at all! I bought them so I could haul my SS 9.5 foot camper weighing 3,000. I hit a dip in the road and the rear two tie downs bent and the camper hit the cab of my truck. I even had 1.5 inches of plywood between the bed of the truck and the camper. These are not safe!
