This is part is a quick and easy replacement for Craftsman 10 tablesaw, model: 315.228490. Two of the terminals are slightly larger than the original and with very minor adjustment a perfect fit can be made. An overall 10-15 minute replacement job.

Ive had my Craftman table saw for 40 years and the switch went out . I wanted to use an original one but they were very difficult to find and even used ones were expensive . While this switch did require me to alter the hole somewhat ( it is a bit larger than the original ) , it looks good , works well and has a lock out like the original .

Its not an exact original replacement but it does fit into the existing hole that the broken switch came out of. I will definitely buy more since Sears no longer makes this switch. I assume it will also fit my Sears Free Standing Drill Press and Sears Disk and Belt sander.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the switch I ordered to replace a broken switch on my Craftsman 10 Radial Arm saw was a near perfect fit, and easy to wire. It works like a charm. Thank You

This is not an exact fit for older craftsman saws. The original switch is held in the housing with two screws whereas this switch is held in With spring tabs which is ok but this switch is slightly larger than the hole. Takes a little filing on the hole to get it to fit. Also the terminal tabs are all the same size, large, whereas the old switch has one terminal that is small requiring cutting the wire and putting a larger female connector on it but as I said, the switch does work.
