This is a really heavy duty inflatable plastic that you blow up and put in your above ground pool during the winter (and fall for us). Your pool cover will rest on top of this and it provides support when the cover gets heavy with rain, ice, snow and leaves. It also maintains an air space between the water and the cover which helps with insulation. We have a MasterSpa Swim spa (H2X a6 foot). We put this in the pool and tie it off so that it stay in the center of the pool which supports both of the covers. (We have two hot tub covers that open in the center and flip out to each end of the pool). This should definitely help with maintaining the cover integrity, and keeping the pool insulated.

If you cover your pool during the winter time, you need this product. I struggled for years trying to understand why my pool would lose so much water over the course of the winter months. It wasn't till I noticed that my cover wasn't water proof and water would seep through to the top allowing it to evaporate. That is where this comes in. I can tie this off, keeping it in the middle. It keeps the cover off the water and more importantly keeps the water in the pool. This is a must have.

Seems like good quality. Weight is decently heavy in the package. Blows up well. Grommets seem sturdy. It is easy to set up in the pool too being so long

This is a great pillow for the quality. I like that it is rectanglular, we have used circular in the past and this one was easier to place. The size is right for our pool and it is exactly as described.

I've had several of these throughout the years and as long as they hold air, they all do the job. This is sort of like reviewing a hammer: if it hammers and doesn't break, it is a pretty good hammer, not a lot to say.But the real test will be to see if it holds air all winter. Some of these do not. I will come back next year and update this review if it loses air during that time. Good so far though.

I know it will withstand this winterand then some.The air valve on this pillow is a definite improvement over the ‘standard red valves’ you find on these pillows. It’s easy to put air into it, and the air definitely will not leak out of this valve. The valve design also makes the pillow easy to deflate.What I like best, though, about this ‘SWIMLINE HYDROTOOLS Air Pool Pillow For Above Ground Pools’ is how strong and securely attached the grommets are to the corners. They’re super thick, and I know they won’t tear through or separate from the pillow under the weight of the snow.In summary, even though this ‘SWIMLINE HYDROTOOLS Air Pool Pillow For Above Ground Pools’ is pricey, it’s definitely worth considering. The quality is excellentthe vinyl is thickthe air valve seals very welland the corner grommets are strong.
