This product works fine! Only improvement - the handle lock mechanism is loose and tends to drop into the handle arm pocket. Although not difficult to resolve (turn hole punch upside down), it is bothersome.

I had a heavy duty 3 hole punch when I worked in an office. This is the same design, but not good for more than a half dozen sheets of paper. I found 3-5 worked best. It's just right for home use. I thought it was a bit pricey considering. But it's not like it'll break the bank or anything. I needed one and it works.

I keep project papers in an 8-sleeve jacket for easy access. This punch handles single sheets and multiple sheets to help me get papers in their place. Good purchase...would recommend.

The label says “made in China to Swingline's standards”. Might want to check into that because the one I got was a joke. Could not even remove the paper after punching the hole. The hole punch doesn't move out of the way. Same as others have said.
