Allows me to properly run my 6hp long shaft kicker for my big boat on my 12ft aluminum boat. Seems like a solid product so far. Time will be a real test, as far as durability.

Built really well,bolted on easily but the 3 lift was to much for me. After playing with some spacers I only needed 3/4 to 1 of lift and if you go lower than the 3 lift you can't get to the motor mounts.

IT PICKED THE MOTOR UP ON THE TRANSOM TO THE PERFECT HEIGHT JUST WISH IT CAME PRE DRILLED BUT THAT WAS NO MAJOR PROBLEM.

This thing is Awesome. My 12' sea nymph now has a 20 hp long shaft 4 stoke motor on it. The motor weighs i at just 100 lbs. I did push my mount up another 3 inches past the transom top. Two bolts on each side. Now I have a 12' tin rocket. It's scary fast. Mount Holds fine! Get one. Simple as that.

The build quality is good. I have yet to drill any holes into the boat or the jack plate itself. I am satisfied with my purchase. Cannot wait to install this permanently to the boat.

This jack plate is cast aluminum with a wood spacer block that drops in. It installs easily. I used 4x 1/2 in. SS bolt, nuts, washers available from another seller. I needed about a 3.5 in. lift for this transom application.

Bought this to lift a long shaft motor on a short transom aluminum boat. It is very sturdy and well designed. Think and measure before you drill and it is easy to install. We mounted it high and got about six inched of lift. The 14ft aluminum boat does about 20 mph now with a 9.9 Mercury four stroke.

The product is very well made and I wish I could have used it. The problem was I did not have enough clearance between the transom and the jack plate for my clamps to fit.
