As the name states, it gives you what's essential, period. Nice also that it's lower profile than a lot of other digital watches that make you look like an extra on “Seal Team” - fits well under a dress shirt. I also use one time zone for local time and one for Zulu time - very accurate for worldwide radio contests.

This is my second Timex Ironman watch and I was not disappointed. I really like the smooth style and ruggedness of this watch. My only comment is that the wording on the face for the button functions is a lot harder to read than my previous watch but that is only minor. The main thing is the Start button on the face of the watch, rarely found these days , but a feature I really like. Highly recommended and I would buy again.

This watch stands up to the test of time. Can endure quite a bit of abuse (constantly getting banged up at work). I've purchased this watch multiple times and have no complaints. Battery lasts about three years on average for me. If you need a good watch with stop watch, timers, and alarms which are all easy to set up and use this is the watch for you!

I've had Ironman watches in the past and for the past few years had been using my cell phone for the time. It dawned on me that it is a whole lot easier to just turn my head to the left and look down at my Ironman watch. The numbers are a good size and it is water resistant. It's just a good watch.

It's supposed to be water resistant for up to 100 feet. It's not it literally only rained on from walking from the car to the house and it has moisture in it. It's junk.

I've had quite a few of these watches. 5 or 6 I think. They last about 2 years, but they work great! The new feature of having 3 time zones instead of 2 is very handy. I also like the updated feature of being able to get rid of the unused functions, like the alarm (so I don't have to scroll over them constantly).I wear them almost every day. Very comfortable

I've been a construction worker for the last 14 years and I've had this watch for the last nine of them. I breaking several watches, including multiple Casios and two mechanical watches, I decided to go with something a little more rugged. After 9 years it finally stopped working because the battery died. Before this I never even owned a watch long enough to have that happen. After changing out the battery, I somehow ruined the light so now I need to replace it. For simple and effective I can't recommend it enough. Super tough to boot!

easy to read and manipulate; operation is simple and intuitive;the band is too stiff and does not fit perfectly on wrist, but hopefully it will become more flexible and conform better over time

I have been wearing a Timex Iron man Watch for years. They are both affordable and durable. My only wish is that they maintained their water resistance better after changing the battery. It is very difficult to regain the factory seal.
