I've used the Ironman Watch for years when my expensive watch proved a dud. Count on two to three good years and don't worry about swimming with it (which I do at least three times a week). Once the face goes blank, go out and get another as the likelihood of a battery replacement (half the cost of the watch) will ruin the watch if it gets wet (happened to me).

Great watch and durable but I bought it to survive my rare pool or beach days in addition to sport outings and it broke the day after I spent an hour at the pool. Maybe just a dead battery but it had visibly trapped moisture in the screen. Amazing watch for sports. Useless for swimming.

This one put all the buttons in the right place, and made it Much Easier to set. Which is a big plus. The watchband on this one seems more durable than previous versions, as well.

I got this watch on a whim after finding out Viktor Bout, aka the merchant of death was wearing this watch during his exchange for the basketball lesbian that got caught with dubious substances in Russia. Needless to say, it was the greatest trade in WNBA history!Anyways, the watch itself is great. Keeps time, chronograph, and timer functions work as expected. The numbers are easy to read and the indiglo light is more than bright enough. This watch will pair nicely with my Casio F91w that was also worn by another notorious figure.Would recommend. Get yourself some of that Bout drip, and rock the ironman.

I'm a retired ironworker the Ironman is the only watch I've ever used it takes a beating real well and it really shows up good at night. Nothing bad to say about this watch. And the battery lasts forever.

Timex is without a doubt the best inexpensive watch. I have had several and they are all indestructible. Managed to program and set this watch in less than five minutes. Easy to understand online instructions.

I really like this watch. I did get a big scratch/crack on the face of the watch, but luckily it is at the top of the glass and doesn't interfere with the function.

I keep buying these watches. They take a licking and keep on ticking. I could probably put a new battery in it when it dies after a few years, but by then, they are showing some wear, so I buy another one because I like them. They serve my purposes -- tell time, see the date, have a timer and a chrono -- what more could I ask?

As the name states, it gives you what's essential, period. Nice also that it's lower profile than a lot of other digital watches that make you look like an extra on “Seal Team” - fits well under a dress shirt. I also use one time zone for local time and one for Zulu time - very accurate for worldwide radio contests.

This is my second Timex Ironman watch and I was not disappointed. I really like the smooth style and ruggedness of this watch. My only comment is that the wording on the face for the button functions is a lot harder to read than my previous watch but that is only minor. The main thing is the Start button on the face of the watch, rarely found these days , but a feature I really like. Highly recommended and I would buy again.
