Great little device.. Had one for years and then it finally broke. Couldn't find any locally so ordered 2 online. They are as advertised. Simple to use, good grip and a great little addition to morning coffee ritual. I have no idea how there are so many folks giving it 1* due to not working. Not sure that is even possible. None the less it is as advertise and does a great job for us.

Life is so easy now that I'm not spending hours every day separating coffee filters! This is especially useful for Aeropress filters. These annoying little filters are nearly impossible to separate without this tool. I'm never really certain if I've just grabbed one. But with these grabbers it's just one quick motion, clean off! Plus the separator tool nestles nicely on top of the stack of filters as you can see in the picture.

at the beginning of ADC coffee makers, they used to give these in a box of filters. They are well worth the money!!

I have rheumatoid arthritis and this product makes it so easy to separate the filters that love to stick together.<br />Product is easy to squeeze, Which is important for us RA sufferers. Functions better than I expected.<br />A must product for every coffee consuming household.<br />Great present for the elderly as well.

had one of these for years and lost it in a move, love these, work great every time!<br />Update-broke in half within two months time, perhaps all the newer ones use cheaper plastic now? who knows, in the meantime we just hold them together like stubby chopsticks to pickup the filters!!

I saw so many negative reviews for this little gizmo that I'm forced to chime in with the opposite opinion. It does EXACTLY what it's supposed to do. It picks up one and only one paper filter each time, and it does it on the first try every time. Perhaps it works with some brands of filters better than others, and I just got lucky, but I find no fault with it whatsoever. I've had it only about one month, so I cannot yet attest to its durability, but if it broke and required replacement every six months (and I don't think it will), then for this price I'd find that acceptable. If excessive stress and frustration contributes to heart disease and ill health, then this filter separator will probably add months or years to my life, and it keeps me from starting each day with a burst of cussing.
