Detail and workmanship are excellent, it has a hand made look that adds to its vintage appeal. I bought it as a photography prop, and have a lot of concepts in mind for it. Being mixed wood and metal frame construction, it is somewhat fragile, so I will be cautious if it gets windy. It is not meant to protect from rain, but it does provide mixed shade from direct sun, and the lace patterns will project onto your subjects face and shoulders in interesting ways. Handle with care and it should serve you well.

Most beautiful parasol I bought for a cosplay purpose.It suits for other occasion as well but i'm happy it came in one piece perfectly.

Perfect for keeping the sun off, be careful though. These aren't toys. They are delicate. Handle with care. Used mine at the pool. Worked nicely.

This parasol is just the ticket for keeping the hot Alabama sun off my face. I love it as I can make heads turn as I take my own personal shade with me wherever I go. It is also much cooler than a hat as the breeze is a valued commodity in the South. The lace is delicate looking, however the construction of this product is very sturdy. The purple is rich and classy.
