We discovered the Travel John's a few years ago and now we don't ever travel without them! We typically purchase 2 packs of 20, which will get 2 adults and 3 kids from the Midwest to the coast and back. We also make sure to keep at least 3 in both cars for every day use in case of emergencies while doing errands or commutes. It is truly amazing how many opportunities will present themselves when you know you have them in the glove compartment. When driving, bathroom runs are SO MUCH faster when the kiddos don't have to exit the car at the gas station (and walk through all the chip and candy aisles). Just remember to keep some Wet Ones and a roll of tp close by so everything can go in the trash with the Travel John while the gas tank is filling up. The basic mechanics break down to a funnel with a baggie attachment. The funnel fits over the frontal nether region (works for both boys and girls from child to adult). The baggie is filled with that powdery stuff they use in diapers. When you deposit fluids, the powder expands, turning to gel in about half a minute. The baggies can be used 2 or 3 times before it reaches capacity. They are perfect for day trips to the zoo, beach, botanic garden, playground, amusement park, museum--basically anywhere you have to run halfway around the world and back to get to a bathroom just to wait in a painfully long line of ppl who, like your kid, are on the verge of breaching their respective reserves. And if you are as blessed as we are with an especially sensitive kiddo who absolutely hates the surprisingly sonorous whoosh of automatic flushing toilets, then you will appreciate the relief it brings your child to know that thoughts of being spontaneously flushed down the toilet are finally and forever dispelled. I do not exaggerate when I say you need these in your life--it will make trips with the family--dare I say--enjoyable;-P

There is no way we could travelor go to anywhere with automatic bathrooms without having TravelJohns. They are a life saver. Expensivebut worth it.

I am male. Really like the convenience of these things. I take with me when biking, boating, and when towing my travel trailer. No longer have to search for a restroom. If circumstances require you to use while seated in a vehicle, I suggest wrapping Kleenex around the top of the opening and your “special purpose” to catch / prevent any spills/leaks.

Like I drive tractor trailer when I struck in traffic jam. Knowing I don’t to rush to pull over. I hat travel John.

These have come through on multiple occasions and so helpful when my kids (who are potty training) need to go and have no place to go. They come with wipes both wet and dry and each is individually wrapped. They turn to gel in a very short time. I will be buying more for sure.

We first purchased this after an experience on a busy interstate in slow traffic and bad weather trying to use a red Dixie cup, both my wife and decided to find an alternative to a Dixie cup. We selected the Travel John 10 years ago and keep them in cars, travel trailer, and home. I have reordered several times over the years. They work very well as described, no leaks so far, all liquid is absorbed even when used a second time, 28 oz has been sufficient. I used these in hospital as a backup to a urinal, at home after an accident that prevented a quick trip to bathroom, don't require much attention for disposal just toss in trash. Ordering again to replenish supply for summer travels. I did give several to nurses to use with there children on car trips and emergencies, they appreciated the gift and reported they were great and ordered their own. This is a great product for discreet use when time is of the essence and a restroom is rarely convenient and close enough.

In these times of COVID it is very hard to be out of the house and find a bathroom that one is comfortable using. Having these in the car is neat and convenient. The rigid plastic tip makes them almost foolproof.

I've used TravelJohn packs for years...and swear by them.

These things are great. Small enough to fit in pocket or purse. Very little chance of spillage or leaking. I use several times before disposing. This pack comes with tissue and wipes which is a great plus. For women, best used standing/squatting; it’s a bit tricky in the car.

A portable toilet in a bag. Compact and handy for those times when facilities are nowhere close.

Works great. Just have to make sure you have it in the right position but other then that no problem. Holds the liquid well until you can get to a place to dispose of it.
