This backpack is exactly what I was looking for in size and depth. I am a competitive swimmer but tired of the large 45L bags. This is right inbetween. I took this to Europe and I liked the fact that the zipper on the top zips away so that the opening opens near the straps or near my back and not facing outwards. Zippered sunglass section and my pens and pencils are secure in the pencil pouch inside the outside zippered half mesh and half fabric pocket. Secure shoe or wet compartment on the bottom and also side entry pocket on front. Padded iPad sleeve section inside. My fav bag yet and I’ve had many bags over many years of swim and coaching. Thank you!

Awesome bag for gym and for swimming. I have tried numerous gym bags and swim bags and this is by far the very best. It has more room than expected and I love that I can wear it as a back pack. I am very happy with this purchase! :)

My boys (16 and 13) love this backpack. It is roomy but not bulky and it has a padded spot for chrome book or lap top.

I got the smaller size because I think the bigger one is too bulky for me. Very useful, holds everything I need for swim practice! Recommend

My son went between the larger 45L bag and the smaller version. He decided on the larger. This bag holds his parka, water polo ball, sunscreen, Hydroflask, and SO MUCH MORE! The attached hooks on the outside are great for attaching wet suits, the mesh bag is great for wet towels. The bottom is reinforced and waterproof for sitting on the wet pool deck. All in all, a great purchase!

I've had it a few months and there's already wear and tear on the seams that are noticeable. I only removed 1 star as opposed to 2, because I'm very hard on my stuff.

I use this bag for cycling events, not swimming. I don't like this bag as much as the previous version, the TYR Alliance Team Backpack 2. The old version had two large side pockets that each could hold two large water bottles. The side pockets on the new version are differently sized. The larger of the two side pockets can barely hold two small water bottles and the other pocket isn't large enough to even hold one small bottle. The zipper on the top opens to the back (towards the shoulder straps) which if find to be counter intuitive.
