I swam competitively through high school, and these were my goggles of choice. 6 years later and I am getting back in the pool to swim laps, and these were the first pair I looked for. The quality is still there. Easy to adjust, and you're off. It is also a nice perk that they are one of the nicest looking pairs out there. If you are a parent looking to buy your child a pair, these may not be the best for young children, but for middle school and on these are fantastic for anyone looking to compete. They fit well, and stay on. Many other types I have used would either fall off while starting off the blocks, or would fog/leak throughout the race.

Love these for daily competitive swimming. Stay on for starts from the blocks. Love the swed-ish design.

These are an update to the old school swedish style goggles. If you're a competitive and/or master's swimmer these might be what you're looking for. It includes both the silicone tube/string or rubber bridge to use as a nosepiece. There is a thin silicone gasket around the outer eye piece that sits on your skin that prevents it from slipping and provides a water tight seal without the bulk. The update to the silicone around the eyepiece enables you to wear them without having to keep the straps super tight.

Really nice for outdoor swimming. Swedish goggles don't work for everyone so if your not sure if they fit your face try the three buck version first. This pair is more comfortable since it has a rubber material on the seating surface.

Have been wearing Sock Rocket 2.0s now for probably a decade. Bought them originally because I wanted an aggressive goggle but Sweds hurt. SR 2.0s are a perfect blend of an aggressive goggle and comfort.Straps usually last 8-12 months depending on how much you swim, how much chlorine your pool has, and how well you take care of them. These probably aren't great for more casual swimmers but for competitive ones, these are a must try.

I've been swimming competitively since I was (5) years old. When the Swedish-style goggles first came out, I was an early adapter and have been using this style ever since - anything else feels like I'm swimming with a windshield on my face. But having said that, these goggles are not for the average casual/recreational swimmer. Most casual swimmers feel like the goggles are too tight on their face - at least that's the most common critique I hear when I've lent my goggles out to someone to try for a lap or two. But someone used to the hard plastic Swedish goggles will consider these a rather comfortable upgrade. What works well for me is taking the extra time to fit the goggles with the included string and tubing. Additionally, I pair the goggles with a bungee-cord head-strap. This strap allows for quick adjustments and has much greater durability than the included rubber-straps; after all, there's nothing worse than showing up for a swim and having your head-strap snap just as you're preparing to push off the wall!I keep a backup pair of goggles and straps in a plastic ziplock and keep it close in my mesh swim bag so if I do happen to have a goggle malfunction - it doesn't ruin a workout. Before you buy, just understand what you're getting. These are designed for competition; as such, these are low-profile, tight, and comfortable - just the way I like them!

If you're looking for casual swimming goggles, look at another pair. These are for the initiated competitive swimmer. I'm not saying you wouldn't use them and enjoy them if you were just taking them out to go swimming in your backyard pool, but these are designed to stay on your face and be adjustable at a moments notice, not necessarily for comfort. They have a small amount of rubber on the eyepieces, so they won't cut into your eye sockets as much as the typical swedish sets do, but still aren't 'comfortable.'I used these during my competitive swimming days and just needed to get another pair a few years later. I'd recommend them to any serious swimmer.

Ex competitive swimmer. These fit perfectly for swedish style goggles. If you are not used to racing goggles and are looking for something comfortable, I would go with something else. These also run very dark so if you are swimming in low visibility (dirty or non lit pool/lake/ocean) its hard to see. If you have an a nice pool and really want good quality goggles for training or competing, these are the best I have ever had.

I have trouble with leaking goggles and having to put them on so tight they leave zombie eye marks. Not so with these. Comfortable and leak free.

takes a little getting used to but now after three months, it feels really comfortable. Beware, it doesn't have the rubber things around the eye piece. Some people prefer those.
