I have purchased TYR swimsuits exclusively for years. I have never had one fade like this. After less than a dozen swims of about an hour each, the suit has faded badly from the bright royal blue it was to a washed out blue, almost grey and light purplish in color. The pool where I always swim doesn't seem to have amped up the chlorine any more than usual. And I wash out the suit with soap and cold water after each dip. The inside seams that hug the skin are still the bright blue, but the outside...wow! I've never had an all blue suit before. Could it just be the blue dye that does this? What a surprise. Guess I will try red next.

so far holding up nicely! I teach 7 classes a week in the water. Had it for only a couple weeks. But I like TYR products!

Terribly inconsistent stitch work. I ordered two sizes since I was in between and unfortunately the size that fit me was very poorly stitched and looks unfinished. The other size however was stitched very nicely. Unfortunately I needed a suit and would not have had enough time to return and receive a different suit. Now I paid all this money for a suit that is garbage.

I am almost 5'6 135 lbs and I got the 34 and it fit nicely and was not too much of a struggle to get on, as I know that some of these suits are supposed to be very tight. I have swum in it 5 times and the TYR lettering is coming off, but that is not a big deal. The keyhole back is not as tight on me, but I guess that is expected. Overall, I recommend this suit.

I love this suit, but does not hold up to everyday wear like other TYR suits. It stretches out quickly. Very flattering and comfortable but not great for daily swimmers

My daughter really liked the Durafast Elite this summer. She was in a 30 and of course it was really tight-(competition swimmer). I figured I would buy this in a 32 and it could give her more room. Possibly rotate it with the other suit for winter season practices. These are totally different suits! It's just not in the same category. The top has to be pulled up between laps. It's also see through at the top. Maybe not a dealbreaker for an adult but she's 10 so we will be putting this in the drawer for a while.

TYR makes great swimsuits. My old suit had gotten a lot of use so I needed another one. TYR is true to size and fit great!

It's been half a lifetime since my years of competitive swimming. I struggled to find a suit that fit my adult body until I found this one. For reference I am now 5'4, a D cup, a size 12, 170 LB, and wear a size 38 suit. It has great stretch, is comfortable, doesn't pinch on the hips or shoulders, and has plenty of room for my chest and butt. This suit understands that my body has changed but my desire to swim hasn't. While it's extremely accommodating, I can flexibly move in it and the suit moves with me. I wear it every day and it holds up. I practice 4-5 days a week, and I find myself replacing it once a year as the color fades and the material sags (like any typical suit), but it has never once gone see through on me. I've tried other suits but I always come back to this one. It's simply the best.

Ordered 3 different swim suits, went to numerous stores- found this and fit is great, quality is great and price is great. Bought size 34- I'm 5'7 and about 130 give it take depending on the day. I have larger shoulders due to gymnastics and swimming so the straps are just a touch tight but I'll take it because overall quality is good! Just enough stretch without being stretchy and holds me in- unlike so many suits now that feel loose and light in weight.

Bought this to wear while lifeguarding and teaching swimming. It's a great supportive suit especially if you are busty.

I have had many many speedo suits the suit is by far the least supportive I have ever owned highly recommend sizing down 1 to 2 sizes which is very inconsistent for a speedo suit The cut on top is also very very awkward you get a lot of side boob which is also not extraordinarily typical of a speedo suit After owning this a couple of weeks I feel like I need to buy a new suit already so it's also not very durable

Tyr offers a great swimsuit for lap swimming. Swimsuits are well constructed, and fit great. I wear them when I'm doing some serious swimming. They are perfect for the job

I am 5'9 and 150 lbs. I ordered a size 36. I have two swimsuits (different brands) in size 36 that fits perfectly. When I tried this suit on, it was tight, but I just decided to keep it because I feel like it's better for a suit (especially for lap swimming) to be a little tight as opposed to loose. After swimming in it once or twice, I regretted my decision not to return. I should have paid better attention to the reviews saying it ran small.However, I do think this is flattering and a very good quality suit.

I swim every other day for a mile and I am usually looking for a new suit every three to four months. This has been one of the better suits I have found. Comfortable, stretchy and fits well. Would definitely recommend.
