I took it winter camping. The tent performed as expected. Notes: Tent has low height (I'm 5'734; and still low for me). Also, you will need to buy separate spikes. The ones that were included will not work if it is too windy.

So I waited a long time to finally get this tent. I’m on a very fixed income and saved a long time for this. Overall it’s a good tent but whoever was sewing that day must have been asleep. The adjustment straps for the vestibules are actually sewn into the fly so there is no way to adjust them. They are set at one length... period. That’s not going to work. The vents don’t bring in nearly enough air to keep a steady balance and I’ve woke up with the floor of the tent and my sleeping bag covered in condensation. I will say it held up great during a rain storm we had but the issues with the fly are huge. Very disappointed. Heard so many good things about this tent and now I’m just disgusted with it. Update: becoming less impressed with this tent. One vestibule can only be properly closed from the outside. We have some huge storms in the forecast and the tent is set up. We will see how it works. At the the moment I’m wishing I had just saved up and bought a better tent. There are so many flaws with this tent that I would never buy another again. If I could get my money back I would. The more I look the more I find wrong. I really wanted to love this tent. Now it’s more of a overpriced kids tent for the back yard.

Very nice camping tent. Too heavy for me to take backpacking. As other people mentioned, the fly is more difficult to set up than the tent !!! I probably will not even bother using the fly, unless rain is expected. The front and rear vestibules are very nice, and provide lots of space for stuff. Lots of pockets inside, which I used recently during my 3-night camping trip. I was able to fit my full-sized cot (I have a bad back) inside the tent !!! Just barely though. I actually extended the cot outside of the tent in the rear vestibule, to provide more space for my dog's bed. Zippers worked very smoothly. I had two lights hanging inside the tent.

We really like this tent! We wanted something a bit bigger than our 2 person tent (which is tight for 2 and has no room for bags). This is a bit more cumbersome to put up but after a few times it got much quicker to build. We used this for 9 days in different locations around Death Valley this winter. On two nights we were in a area with strong nightly winds, but while inside the tent it felt much more sturdy than previous tents. We didn't have any rain but we did spill some water on it as a test and the waterproof claim checks out. My one complaint is that it's difficult to get it back into the tent bag, which can be annoying if you change camp locations daily. You have to roll it just right, and as tight as possible in order for it to fit in the bag. It would be better if the bag could be tightened after the tent is inside.

Fantastic tent. Easily 5-10 degreees warmer just inside alone. Slept in simply a long sleeve tee in a bag at 11k with 5 inches at 15 degrees. Exceeded expectations. Only complaint is rain shield hard to pack up.

I have only had the opportunity to set up in my living room, but the fabric is thick, and it warmed up fast when my three year old thought that it was her new fort and she needed to play. I can’t wait to try it during the cool Idaho fall.
