I purchased this tent for motorcycle camping in cooler and possibly stormy weather. I've spent more than a few days stuck in a tent waiting out a storm so opted for the three person, just like the extra room and my motorcycle doesn't mind a couple of extra pounds. The space inside is huge for a solo camper and would sleep two with room for gear if needed. I believe if the tent is staked out properly, it could handle high winds but haven't put it to the severe storm test as of yet. The tent, poles and fly are all well made and maybe with the exception of the rain fly poles, everything else is well designed. It's large so I usually pace off a 15 x 7 ft area to clear and, if possible, position it so the prevailing wind is in line with the tent length both for stability and ventilation. The two extra rain fly poles, that are not pictured nor mentioned in the product description a a bit of a pain to insert through the full length sleeves in the rain fly, a little extra fabric would have been nice. My set up and take down time was around 25-30 minutes. I take my time so someone else might do the set up much faster. Bottom line, I really like the tent.
