Adding features to my vehicle that it didn't come equipped with. I found these are the perfect fit for the empty spots in some of the connectors. Being so tiny they're somewhat hard to work with, but that's the size needed so it is what it is.

Somewhat difficult to work with due to small size but perfect for customizing 22 gauge LED strip lighting installations. I used these with bulk 22 guage wiring the make custom plug connectors for long runs between light strips.

Used 20 so far. The first 8 were training since I had to mutilate the housing to get them in there, but I later learned that soldering and squishing the things to fit worked quite well. I tried two crimpers and they were utterly useless, so I settled for just using my needlenose to crimp and solder onto solid AWG 22. This was the best solution for my 2.0 mm spaced PCB contacts. I may try 0.1-in posts that have a 10.37mm stub which should allow standard 0.1-in headers to connect to for 8-pins. Since I only need 6-pins, this should be easier to manage.

These pins and sockets work well with the matching housings. Used to make female to female jumpers for utilizing the UART function of the 2209 stepper drivers that are installed on a Lerdge 3D printer board.

I must say when I saw these I wondered about them. I got some and these work great for adding accent lights or adding bowl lights to vehicles, inside or outside. All you do is secure your wires from the item your are powering to the pins and then tap them into you power source and ground source with these pin connectors. Very neat idea. These can't be used on sealed lights such as brake light, turn signals, etc. This is because the factory seals them to prevent condensation in the electrical connections. Most vehicles on the interior, use connections such as lock connectors that can be tapped into with these pins. Be very careful when doing any wiring.

They are a little hard to get off of the strip, but I guess they are made for machine crimping.
