Works great but noisy so when they say it won't interfere with TV volume that is false.Got the one for 1500 sq ft but fills quickly but I am also by the water so I'm sure that plays a part. Not sure about energy efficiency since I have yet to receive my electric bill. If you don't mind the noise then it does what it says

Before I bought this hOmeLabs model, I used an old dehumidifier from around the ‘70s that my parents had; but it finally broke...- Things aren't built to last like they used to, so I can't expect any modern dehumidifier to last nearly as long as the my “vintage” unit...- I only use a dehumidifier during the summer. I live in NY that's when humidity levels tend to soar!....I primarily use a dehumidifier to protect my guitars.- I haven't had my hOmeLabs dehumidifier for very long, but so far its been GREAT! It's extremely quiet; I can't hear it at all when I play guitar. Last but not least: it always keeps the humidity at a PERFECT LEVEL!!!

Fairly quiet, well made unit. I had a Frigidaire that lasted 15 years!!! Decided based on reviews to give this a try this time around. Love the smaller bucket which I empty twice a day. It's light enough and not awkward causing water to spill like the Frigidaire that was just too bulky.

Got this for my home after using several of them at my church. In humid climates it really pulls the water our of the air. Have to monitor the bucket regularly and empty it, else the machine stops and no more dehumidifying! Its large capacity helps.

Product is very easy to handle. The bucket is easy to pull and carry if you have to carry it. Full weight of the bucket with with a full tank of water is just under 16 pounds.

This dehumidifier works very well for my 1040 sq. ft. home. Easy to use, easy to empty. Perfect size for small spaces. My only complaint is that it is a little on the loud side.

Worked great for the first year. Now it leaks water on the floor instead of in the bucket. We have cleaned it and it still leaks on the floor. We do not have access to be able to attach a drain hose so we have placed it in the shower in our hallway bathrooms when shower is not in use.

I can't really find any faults with this machine. It does its job extremely well and is relatively quiet in doing so! For the money... I would highly recommend this product!

I bought a bigger version of this brand and put it in my basement. It has done a great job. I have a 3800 sq ft house and wanted a second one for the upstairs. It does great. I just wished I would have gone with the bigger one, again. During the summer I have to empty it in the morning and at night.

This is a very efficient dehumidifier. I have it in my 2 car garage on an island with lots of dampness. I thought it might be a bit quieter.
