I use this unit in my 36x45 dog training building. It's a pole shed, fully insulated (floor, walls, ceiling), and though the temp is staying good (between 68-76) in this MN heat (85-98), the humidity was making it sticky. The unit brought the humidity down from 74 to 58 in about 6 hours (had to empty the bucket in there at some point), and over the next 8 hours it was down to 50, which was where I set it.The unit turned itself off twice when the bucket was full. This happened once when I forgot it was on and left for the night. I was very relieved to NOT find a flood in the building the next morning! I've since attached a piece of garden hose that I ran out of the building under the garage door, so it's been draining outside. I was worried that the garage door would flatten the hose enough to impede the water flow, but that hasn't been a problem.I haven't figured out the timer yet, so can't comment on that. I will run this unit nearly 24/7 during the humid months in MN, so am not really concerned about the timer. So far, so good! If anything comes up in the next few weeks or months, I'll come back to edit.
