Causes: Human Services
Mission: To provide new shoes and socks to children in need who live at or below the poverty level.
Results: We have distributed over 7,000 pair of new shoes and socks to children in need all over northern and central Arizona. Most of the children we’ve served are living below the poverty level and are served through the NACOG Head Start System or have suffered great loss through the death of a parent, parent’s job loss or loss from a natural disaster or fire.
Target demographics: Children in need of new shoes, socks and other items.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 3,000 children in need.
Geographic areas served: Central and Northern AZ
Programs: New Shoe distributions 2-3 times each year.
