I've used this several times for moving fuel in and out of my generator and gas can storage.Hose length is about right. Using Sony Eneloop rechargeable batteries, two AA batts works great.Flow tarts immediately after flipping the switch, no delays on priming.So far no failures as others have reported, had it for a year. Just hang it up to dry out after use,then put it back into the plastic bag/box.

The unit makes for a very clean fill up and pretty fast too. We use ours for fueling our boat at the dock without any mess at all. This is my second one since i ran over the first one by being careless.

Although it is made in China, this is a very handy tool for transferring gasoline, water or any liquid with a thin viscosity. I have 3 of them and have given away as gifts 4 of them. Get one for yourself, you'll love it.

I really like this pump. It transfers fuel quickly, I spill no gas and don't have to deal with pouring fuel out for a cumbersome 5 gallon container with government mandated anti-spill spouts (RRRRRGGG). But this pump is cheaply made. I have had two failures due to switch issues. But I like the convenience so much I just keep a spare on hand.
