Mission: The Assistance Fund is an independent charitable patient assistance organization that helps patients and families facing high medical out-of-pocket costs by providing financial assistance for their copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, and other health-related expenses. Our vision is to see the day when no person goes without treatment because of an inability to pay.
Results: The Assistance Fund has helped more than 160,000 people through our nearly 80 disease programs since our inception in 2009.In the past year alone, we assisted nearly 60,000 people, grew donations by 30%, and answered over 125,000 phone calls from 43,000 patients.
