Mission: The Avon Theatre Film Center is a non-profit, member-supported cultural hub, dedicated to presenting film in its highest forms: as art, as history, as education, and as a window on the world, as well as in its most compelling formats: Independent, Foreign, Documentary and Classic. At the same time, the Avon, itself a 1939 historic landmark, provides a forum for in-person, community dialogue with directors, actors and other luminaries in a vibrant “Main Street America” setting. (Less)
