Mission: THE FELIX ORGANIZATION/ Adoptees For Children provides inspiring opportunities and new experiences to enrich the lives of children who are growing up in the foster care system.

Results: The Felix Organization has sent over 2,000 youth in foster care to Camp Felix, an overnight camp in Putnam Valley NY and has sent hundreds more youth from Los Angeles to a state-of-the-art overnight camp on the west coast. Our Campers leave CAMP FELIX with: Improved physical and cognitive skills, Improved awareness about healthy living, Improved self-esteem, Sense of belonging, Heightened self-confidence including respect for self, Improved social skills including respect for others, Improved level of positive decision-making and leadership skills. To date, 96 former campers have become CITs, Jr. Counselors and/or volunteers and 11 campers have become paid staff, expanding their leadership skills and gaining on-the-job competencies.

Programs: Camp Felix overnight camp, Beyond Camp which allows youth in foster care to follow their dreams by paying for extracurricular activities, Thanksgiving Feast-ival, Winter Camp Reunions, Secret Santa holiday gifts and Felix Friendship Circle, which sends youth to Broadway shows and cultural events.
