Mission: The Literacy Project provides adult basic education programs and opportunities that support participants to engage meaningfully and equitably in the economic, social, cultural and civic life of their communities.

Target demographics: adult learners acheive their educational goals

Geographic areas served: the Pioneer Valley

Programs: free classes at five locations across Franklin and Hampshire Counties; we have classrooms in Amherst, Northampton, Greenfield, Orange and Ware. A majority of students work to ultimately to obtain their high school equivalency degree.
