Mission: The Mariners' Museum and Park connects people to the world's waters, because through the waters-through our shared maritime heritage-we are connected to one another. We strive to provide an intellectual and emotional experience that is shared by generations, across cultures, and without barriers or judgement. To best serve our audience, and because we are connected as one through the water, Admission to the Museum is $1 per person. It is through exploration of our collection and engaging experiences that we connect people to the world's waterways so that they can discover their own maritime roots. A steward of one of the world's most extensive maritime collections, we are committed to the preservation and conservation of more than 35,000 objects and several million library and archive materials. The Museum is situated within a 550-acre park that is privately owned and maintained and is free to the public. (Less)
