Mission: To promote the dignity of women and a respect for all human life. We seek to accomplish this goal by offering the loving support and comprehensive aid necessary to enable all women to continue their pregnancies, deliver healthy babies, and adequately care for themselves and their children.
Results: 60,143 women and children served since our founding in 1981.
Target demographics: Pregnant and parenting women and teens as well as low-income families with infants or toddlers. They come from the greater Washington, DC area, particularly Arlington, the District of Columbia, Montgomery County and Prince George’s County. The vast majority of our clients are Latino and African-American, and most are threatened by long-term poverty and homelessness.
