I find putting around myself and then sitting down the best way for me. I drive a school bus and use it then and when driving my car. I was told to keep the seat as upright as possible to help with back.

fits chairs of many shapes and sizes . when it came had hard time threading buckle onto strap

Had first purchased the smaller version which does it's made more. But does not work on some of my chairs. This is a perfect size for me. I'm 5.6 and works on my chairs and on seats on public transit and movie theaters

I herniated a disk in my lower back and the physical therapist strongly recommended this. I also recommend the companion book How to treat your back, as well as physical therapy, including conscientiously doing the recommended stretches and exercises.

Been buying these years; they help your back like no other. They make you sit up straight and support your whole spine, which helps with back pain. I use one in the car and at my desk at home and at work!, no more slumping forward.

This is helpful for chair use, but not that useful in a car! the shape moves around a lot in a vehicle when you get in and out of the car, and is often hard to reposition while driving.
