A nice easy way to support your lower back in bad chairs or auto seats.<br /><br />Though you could definitely accomplish the same thing with a rolled-up towel (I did before I bought this), it's a lot neater and there is less straightening and re-rolling required. It also looks a lot less mess and contrived sitting on your car seat. I have (knock on wood) not had a recurrence of my excruciating back pain since I started using this in my car and a pillow in my living room chair.

Love it! But when ordering, make sure you select &#34;firm&#34;. There are different levels of firm for this product.

Works well on some chairs but for many chairs, the flat back model is better.

I started off with a rolled up towel held by some rubber bands that worked fantastic. However, it would shift whenever I moved in my chair. I read about the McKenzie method and was so exited to try out the roll. Pulling it out of the box, my thoughts were it looked too small and too soft. While it does get the job done, I can stop thinking how this could have been improved. They solved one problem by offering a firm density options.<br />These are the problems I found in the first 15 min of use: 1. The roll is not wide enough for men (I’m 6 feet with a 34”waist), 2. It too soft and flattens out with moderate to heavy pressure. I find this happening in the car more than an office chair. In fact, the shape of the roll is becoming distorted due to the soft material, 3. The belt clip does not securely hold the belt tension. I have to constantly retighten the latch. At this point, I’ll stick to my rolled up towel for the chair and my mesh back support for the car.

I have the really original from a few years ago. The foam on the original was much softer. This foam is too dense. I can't sit with it all day like my other roller from OPTP.

there is no better lumbar pillow available...I have bought many different makes...but I have found Original McKenzie the best in terms of firmness size and longevity of use. I carry the pillow with me on my air travels, to use on the plane and at the hotel...I use it when seated and when I sleep...a great buy!
