Used it and it does work as advertised. To use it at home, you have to move it from room to room so that is inconvenient.

it gives lumbar support in a pinch but its not something to rely upon for long term relief.

Too big for use in the car or on most chairs. The half roll is more practical for me. The only place I use this one is for sofas with soft cushions.

The roll was much firmer than I anticipated.

Going to have to give this a three simply because of the retaining strap. No matter what you do it comes less from the click after a couple weeks and you have to re-attach which is annoying as hell. Is it really that difficult to make a decent clip?

Due to recent back problems and a lack of good supportive furniture in my apartment, I picked this up to try and help improve my posture while working at my computer. I purchased the standard density, not the firm, and I wish I had gotten the firm. The standard foam squishes a little too easily and too much, so it didn't really feel like strong support in my office chair. If you need only a little adjustment this may be okay, but if you need good support, go for the firm density. I've moved this to use in the car and it helps there. Quality-wise I've had no issues, but unfortunately this didn't really work for my back so be aware of what firmness you need.

While it is flexible to use anywhere, that is also a disadvantage in that one cannotposition it to stay. It seems to be a little too much thickness for support except insoft and absorbing furniture.

This item was recommended my physical therapist. However, I can not get it to stay in position on my chair. The straps to hold it in place have too much elastic in them and the pillow slips down.

I had the very original McKenzie Super Lumbar Roll which was covered in velour and I LOVED it. Unfortunately they have discontinued the previous velour covered roll - and also changed the shape of this Super Lumbar Roll which is only half the size and covered with a rough fabric. I don't like the NEW version anywhere near as well as the Original Velour-Covered Roll.

The lumbar roll doesn't stay in place when I strap it to the chair so I have to position it everytime I sit back down. It works fine once it's in place.

I got the roll for my husband to help with his posture in the car. He likes the roll but wishes it was more firm to provide him with the back support he needs.

Initially, i didn't like this product. The roll was just too hard, and the foam was so large that I couldn't use any part of the chair back to support my back. so it didn't 't work for extended periods of sitting. However, I customized it by taking a knife and cutting off about 2/3 of the foam, making it more stable while wrapped around the back of my chair, and also smaller to suit my needs. I do agree with many reviewers that the elastic strap that holds the roll in place is of inferior quality -- mine has lost so much elasticity that it's useless and will need to be replaced with a better quality strap.

Works well, strap burst off the the roll after a few months however, but I still use the roll standalone against my chair in the office., Has helped my back a fair amount.

Product appears to loose shape after a while and become useless. Im sure the comfort issue is an issue of personal taste with me. Others may like it

I was having trouble with sciatic nerve back pain and thought this might help. It doesn't. I think it is too soft to do anything. It just crumples up behind me and I really can't even feel it. Maybe the firmer one would be better. Buy the book on back pain by McKenzie instead as that really does help.

The product .. the right size, but quite soft. Sober design, ideal for office and home. I hope I can get used to it in the chair.
