Love it! Others have said there isn't enough structure to this. Yes it does squish down. I guess depending on how much you weigh and what you're looking for. I was looking for support, but not hard/stiff support. I weigh about 135 pounds and am 5'1". For me, the fact that it squishes down a bit is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't want hard ungiving support and this is it! I got the standard firmness and it's just perfect. I love how I can position it anywhere on my chair I want to support my back. I have a problem with my mid thoracic area and this works perfectly, so much so, I just bought another one! I highly recommend this product!

This is too large for use with my fairly standard office chair.

This helps quite a bit with my husbands lower back pain! If you drive a lot, I highly recommend it.

Probably the best $23 I've spent in my life. I've always hunched forward from video games when I was younger and this lumbar roll is a constant reminder to continue pursuing better posture. I bought this one specifically because it is used in the practice I was observing for Physical Therapy in an outpatient setting. Can't go wrong with a healthier lifestyle and a better posture :)

It helped a lot. Read the book, too! It is a short roll and great for travel.

Actually, it was the wrong one for me....way too stiff....I had to re stuff it to use it. I thought I had ordered the soft one. Thanks, Gayle Piche

This roll was specifically recommended to me by my physical therapist, to help me re-train my posture following a herniated disc issue. It took a little bit of getting used to, but now when I use it, I hardly know it's there. I have since purchased a better work chair with built-in lumbar support, but I still find this useful when I travel, etc. It's lightweight, and has an elastic strap for attaching to a chair, which I really like. It is the optimal firmness for supporting the lumbar, and I've also found it useful as a neck support and to use between my knees when I do my floor therapy exercises. I would have given it five stars if the removable cover were a more durable fabric. It's holding up okay after a couple years, but I don't dare wash it.

Exactly what I wanted and use it everyday at the eating table. The positioning strap (velcro attached) lets the roll slide downbut a vertical strap would prevent this when used in a typicalkitchen chair. But, good shape and fits the lumbar as desired.

While it is flexible to use anywhere, that is also a disadvantage in that one cannotposition it to stay. It seems to be a little too much thickness for support except insoft and absorbing furniture.

This item was recommended my physical therapist. However, I can not get it to stay in position on my chair. The straps to hold it in place have too much elastic in them and the pillow slips down.

I bought my first lumbar roll through my Physical Therapist. That was many years ago! I finally had to replace it. It's got me through annoying and critical back issues. It goes where I go, always. It fits just right in that curve when you sit back into the chair. Life is good with it.

I had the very original McKenzie Super Lumbar Roll which was covered in velour and I LOVED it. Unfortunately they have discontinued the previous velour covered roll - and also changed the shape of this Super Lumbar Roll which is only half the size and covered with a rough fabric. I don't like the NEW version anywhere near as well as the Original Velour-Covered Roll.

I use it more for in my car when traveling. I can put it behind my neck or at the base of my tailbone to help with the pain. Its portable too.

Heard much about the Mckenzie Roll. I use it in the Car and chair. Have a seperate one at work. Love it.I have a chronic back problem. My spams which occour hourly w.o the roll have reduced significantly.Recommend to anyone who has a chronic back problem and does lot of sitting.
