I have been moving this item around with me. I have used it at work, with my computer chair at home and also in the car.

It's a great little pillow that has an excellent shape, size and firmness to support my back.

While the adjusting belt doesn't really keep the item in place well (weight of the pillow pulls it down)it's easy enough to readjust.

I'm happy with me purchase. It's not perfect but it does what I need it for. No extra bells or whistles.

perfect for the car. Only thing I don't like is that I can tell there's a lot of tension on the joint where the strap connects to the roll, and it's not going to last as long as I expected

This product can be a life saver. However, it did not work well for use in the car. I have used it at work and at the movies so far and it helped tremendously! I have a long list of back problems and can't sit or stand for long. For me, I need to change positions while working frequently to avoid severe pain. I like switching from the stability ball to this roll throughout the day. The slim line or the half 'D' roll will be my next purchase from the OPTP.

This roll was specifically recommended to me by my physical therapist, to help me re-train my posture following a herniated disc issue. It took a little bit of getting used to, but now when I use it, I hardly know it's there. I have since purchased a better work chair with built-in lumbar support, but I still find this useful when I travel, etc. It's lightweight, and has an elastic strap for attaching to a chair, which I really like. It is the optimal firmness for supporting the lumbar, and I've also found it useful as a neck support and to use between my knees when I do my floor therapy exercises. I would have given it five stars if the removable cover were a more durable fabric. It's holding up okay after a couple years, but I don't dare wash it.

Exactly what I wanted and use it everyday at the eating table. The positioning strap (velcro attached) lets the roll slide downbut a vertical strap would prevent this when used in a typicalkitchen chair. But, good shape and fits the lumbar as desired.

I use it more for in my car when traveling. I can put it behind my neck or at the base of my tailbone to help with the pain. Its portable too.

Purchased as a gift for a family member. Works alright, would reccomend the Duro Med Relax a Back But this is still a good product and works well.

Just another opinion based on experience:I have used this product with very "instant" and appreciable results for debilitating back/hip/leg/ankle pain due to L4-L5 and L5-S1 disk problems. Driving is now tolerable, and even pain free much of the time.I keep my McKenzie lumbar rolls strapped to my car seat, and others in several chairs I use frequently. For best results, I use it higher up on my back than I would have thought. Instead of in the small of my back, I place it just under the bottom edge of my shoulder blades - about mid-back. This location seems to create just the right amount of curve to relieve most of the pain.Certainly, you can find other things to use such as rolled up materials of many types, but this lumbar pad is no muss, no fuss, and has helped me a lot. Like these pads, towels compress, but into a much harder "pad" that irritates more than helps in my experience, and are a pain to deal with. These lumbar pads spring back into shape after you stop using them, or can easily be "fluffed up" like a pillow if needed. My only complaint is with the strap. It can get tangled up and be a problem, but that is the nature of straps.I have purchased 3 of these, and am using them to get noticeable pain relief. Of course, nothing will absolutely solve the problem, including epidurals (I have had two and they have helped me tremendously but not fully solved the problem) and surgery which I may try in the future. But I find these rolls to be worth the money.

I used this lumbar support on an extended driving trip, and found it to be the perfect set-up for me. Both the foam density and the shape are what was needed to give me firm support in the small of the back without being 'cutting' or excessive. Only issue I had was when getting into car, it took a period of adjustment each time to get support located properly, since there is just a single retainer strap.

Keeps it's firmness and shape. Durable outer shell. The strap is sewn on at one end, so if I want to remove it I'll have to cut it off. This is rather inconvenient.

It is a good back support. It was available only in one size. I am sure some people will be more comfortable with a bit smaller or larger. It is fairly well made as so far seems have no fallen apart.

While not a miracle item, it does defiantly help, with little hassle. It stays in place well and comfortably while either studying or drive.

Except that after sitting with it for 40-50 minutes, it flattens out a lot. I just wish it was a little firmer.I should add, it has so far regained its shape when I stop using it. I've only had it for about a month, so don't know how long that would last. Also, it's hard to use this with leather seats in a car. Even though my car seat does have its own lumbar support, it's not good enough for my taste. As a concept of lumbar support, I am a true believer. This is the first product I have tried, and I am not perfectly satisfied with it. But I prefer having this, than not having anything. I will keep looking, and if I find anything better I will come back and report here.

May be a bit too firm. Works well on my office chair, but is too long to fit in the bucket seat in my car.

This is a great lumbar support, and has taken me about a month to get used to it. I'm not used to lumbar support. But the good news is after using this for a month, my lower back and my neck strain seem to be getting better.
