I suffer from nerve pain due to an old neck injury and my neck goes out of whack fairly often. I have to rely on occipital release devices to help release and relieve the stress that it creates. I have a couple of neck rolls that I use and love and offer relief. It's highly recommended to lay on neck rolls to reverse the effects of sitting at a desk all day, looking down (at your phone, reading books, etc) even if you don't suffer from neck pain. I do not feel this neck roll assists with helping to reverse the spine and release/relieve tension. This neck roll is more of a soft, comfy pillow that doesn't offer much support. So if you're looking for something soft and comfy, this is for you. If you're looking for something more firm and supportive, you'll have to try something else.

There are probably better neck supports out there, this on is decent, and has light support. Can use it anywhere really, but it squishes down easier than something more dense like memory foam.

This pillow was recommended to me by my OT after I had a full spinal fusion. I was having a hard time getting comfortable because a regular pillow was just too aggressive but I really needed something under my neck. Now I sleep on a wedge pillow with this under my neck. Its nicer to sleep with than a neck pillow because my face and neck don't get too overheated. Its a lot less firm than a pool noodle, I see where people are coming from then they say to just cut down a pool noodle, but its just a different experience.

It does offer support but it is a lot more stiffer than before. Previous roll had much more give to it.

A little softer than I wanted otherwise it has been a big help getting a good night's sleep.

As pictured. Some days I need a little less support and find it can be too firm. For me it is most comfortable for side sleeping. It does not fit well together with my pillow in my pillowcases. I usually wrap a pillow case around it and then place it under my neck; with my regular pillow under my head. I do like the washable cover. Therefore, my reasons for 4 stars.

My first physical therapist had recommended rolling up towels, and although that sounds good enough it did not work well overnight. This product is easy to use with a feather pillow and stays in place well overnight (even though fit is not perfect with any of the pillow cases I have since it affects the fixed dimension). I initially found I was sleeping with less shifting, then had a few days where I slept better without this; however, I am back to using this more often than not and would recommend it to anyone with cervical issues (under guidance from their own medical professionals, of course).

I bought this foam pillow. Although I like the support it provides to my neck, unfortunately, I'm allergic to the foam in this pillow. My nose was so congested every night since I had the pillow and when I stopped lying on it, I then can breathe just fine. Even though it's still within 30 days from the purchase date, I'm not allowed to return this product. I understand about sanitary reason for the vendor to make it non-returnable, but I wish I had known about this policy prior to buying.UPDATE: I changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars since I appreciate the seller for refunding me the money. They took it into consideration that I am truly allergic to the foam and not making up the story.
