Mission: Guided by our Christian faith, The Samaritan Women seeks to advance quality care for sexually-exploited persons. Our mission is to lead by operating transformative care programs, engaging in collaborative research, and offering a supportive shelter mentorship program.

Results: To date, 20 agencies, from 13 different states have benefitted from our Shelter Mentorship Program. Our curriculum offers 200+ hours of instruction and a resource library of 260+ templates, policies, and job aids to enhance the work of shelters

Target demographics: The Institute for Shelter Care trains and equips shelter programs serving victims of sexual exploitation and conducts national research to improve our nation’s response to victim care.

Geographic areas served: United States

Programs: Provide supportive shelter mentorship; train, equip, and launch Christian shelter programs nationwide; conduct collaborative research;publish national industry studies to improve quality of care; track shelters and direct service organizations across the nation; and unite Christian shelters through research and peer support
