Mission: The Tender is a non-profit organization that provides care to persons with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and their caregivers.

Target demographics: Our day center offers daily opportunities to clients for success and recognition, in an atmosphere that is peaceful and simple. We enable individuals with Alzheimer's disease/dementia to age in place with dignity by providing services that foster independence.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 29 Clients have meaning to their day while giving caregivers peace of mind.

Programs: The Tender is a non-profit corporation. The program offers a day center that provides care to frail persons with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia in a home-like setting. The program includes nutrition, socialization, exercise, and activities as well as respite to caregivers. In addition The Tender offers CARES support - a program that provides a support group, information, education, and referral to caregivers.
