Mission: To educate and inform the public about the suffering of animals in publically-funded laboratories and experimentation facilities as well as wasteful government spending on animal experiments.

Programs: --launched original campaigns, investigations, freedom of information act requests, and open records analysis. --worked with major media outlets to educate taxpayers. Mobilized 400,000+ supporters to take action for animals in taxpayer-funded laboratories. --released an investigative report, ivy league flunkers, which exposed how taxpayer-funded laboratories conduct wasteful and abusive animal experiments. --launched national campaign to expose and end deptartment of veterans affairs painful dog labs. --ended two-decades-old tests in los angeles and prompted de-fund legislation (puppers act). --launched campaign to expose and end food & drug administration's baby monkey nicotine addiction tests. --worked with congress to introduce the years first toxicity testing legislation (fact act). --led campaign to secure two historic audits of government accountability and transparency on animal testing.
