Went on easily, fits well. Only time will tell on its longevity.

The package pictured only showed one blade seal. However, not only do you get the blade seal you get the bottom toilet seal! You have to pull the whole toilet from its base. Not a great design, should be much easier to replace a silly bowl seal! At least you get BOTH seals or else youd more than likely had a huge water leak at the base of the toilet.

Not something you want to do everyday but when the job is done the rest of your chores don't seem so bad.The seal for the flush valve in my toilet was leaking and the water didn't stay in the bowl. Didn't want to let it go until the aroma from the holding tank started coming up. I hope this one lasts as long as the original one. Mine came with the floor flange seal . U-Tube has lots of advice on how to replace and maintain the seal.

I wasn't aware this would come with the floor gasket also. Given that, since it was my first time doing this, I elected to remove the toilet to replace the blade seal. You could do it with the toilet in place, but you can see what you're doing better with it removed. The whole process took about an hour and that's only because I power washed the inside of the toilet while I had it off. Both seals fit perfectly. Very easy install.

This is great product and fixed my problem but , the ad is NOT correct. It's a whole KIT . Not just the flap seal . So you don't need to order the base seal . Just some FYI . So now I have an extra spare base seal .

Important: Ordered the kit in April, 2022 and it does come with two seals (blade seal closet flange). My Thetford model 31683 was not holding water in the toilet tank. It would leak out in less than 15 minutes. Research the web and found the proper procedure for removing the Blade seal. In almost all cases the toilet had to be removed to get to the blade seal. Removed the toilet and was surprised how easy it was (two bolts and a water supply line). I am glad I removed toilet because the model number of the toilet was not what I expected (model 31683), apparently someone had replaced the original toilet with this model. Went to the Thetford web site and found the kit 31708 and ordered it. Kit arrived in two days. Installation was very simple and took around 1 hour. Prior to installing kit I spent at least 2-3 hours cleaning the bathroom and toilet as best as I could. One word of advice, plumber's grease (silicon based) is a must. Grease both the closet flange and the blade seal completely and it will make installation much easier. After installing the blade seal tested seal by placing water in toilet tank and letting it stand for 30 minutes. Not a drop leaked, worked perfectly. Highly recommended and easy to install.

Just purchased this on 4/2022, and wanted to confirm that this kit does come with both the Blade Seal and Closet Flange. It is also an original part from Thetford. I have included a photo!

Got this to replace the seal in the toilet in my travel trailer. The toilet wasn't holding water for very long and I was hoping this would do the trick and fix it. Not so much, it holds water a bit longer, but not like I was hoping. It is a direct replacement part for my toilet, so that isn't the issue, it just doesn't want to work well.

First off, it installed easily, instructions were included, and it fixed my problem of water not staying in the bottom of my camper's toilet bowl. All good, problem solved.The product description indicated it was just the blade seal, and the only picture was of the blade seal. So, since you have to remove the toilet from the floor to install a new blade seal, it makes sense to also replace the closet flange seal, which is on the bottom of the toilet, when you bolt it back down to the floor.I read the reviews and questions, some people said they only received the blade seal, some people said they received the blade seal and the bottom flange seal. Since I needed to do this before our next camping trip, I ordered the separate bottom flange seal at the same time, so I could complete the job at once.The package I received had BOTH the blade seal, and the closet flange seal, so I didn't need the separate flange seal I bought. The instructions also indicate to discard the old flange seal, and install the new seal, so it would appear their instructions assume you will always receive both seals in this package.Although it's a bonus to receive more than what you're expecting, it would be nice to know what you're receiving in advance, so that you don't buy the extra seal separately.

I didn't even check when delivery came because I ordered the toilet bade seal separately and it was delayed just got back from a week long camping trip and both seals are in the bag now I have an extra seal.. perfect replacement parts theford aqua v rv toilet

I'm writing a review because there is confusion in the product description and in previous reviews. Thetford part 31708 is for the toilet blade seal AND includes a closet flange. Pics attached. I need both of these parts so I'm happy. Will be returning the separate flange I purchased.

Just what I was looking for. I thought I was just getting the blade seal but it also came with the flange seal as well. Install was easy. I'm happy with purchase.

Contrary to description, the package contained both the advertised blade seal and the flange seal for the base. There appears to be confusion on this since some customers received the two seals and others only the blade seal.

Came with both gaskets. Had the blade seal gasket and also the foundation gasket.
