The price is a little high, I FEEL, for a foam anything, but it makes the kid happy. I've had people comment that it's "sturdier" than others they've seen.

My sons love this. I am only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because while they were using it like a pick axe on the ground it messed up the corner of the diamond part a little. I don't think they have noticed but it bothers me!. It is a small area. They continue to play rough with it and it has held up well.

The pickaxe is made of a hard foam material which we have found to be quite durable. I'd advise against using this as a weapon as most kids (including my 5 year old) will likely do because it is quite hard. It did break eventually but only because my son and his friend fought over it in a tug-a-war match which I can't fault it for.<br /><br />The packaging is pretty generic compared to what you would find in a big box store but you're not paying the full price either. I can't tell any difference in the product otherwise. I'm giving it 4 stars simply because there's nothing here that separates it from other pickaxes you'll find online but I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Well it's a big foam pickaxe.... Probably a must for minecraft lovers. A little ridiculous for the price and item for those of us that aren't minecraft lovers. But my son loves it and that's all that matters. It is harder than I expected though! I was thinking soft foam and it's very rigid.

They took a very long time to arrive, atleast a month! Also they have a very toxic/chemical smell. I haven't let my son play with them.
