Work fine, sharpen well. Tips aren't overly brittle. Mainly use when marking out metal projects for cutting, grinding, etc.

I like that it prints without pressing too much and it's very visible...like crayon. But, the wood split lengthwise while sharpening it.

It's nice to have a pencil that is ready to go and already pre-sharpened. However, the pencil lead is more pink than red. I absolutely do not like the color at all. The erasure is just ok, it doesn't completely erase super clean but there are no smudges or tears on the paper.

These pencils have a nice, soft lead that writes effortlessly. They also hold their point well, without the frequent breakage and need for sharpening that is so common with colored pencils. The only difficulty I've had with them is that if I need to erase something I have written with them, erasure is partial, always leaving part of the original mark behind. I found this to be true whether using the pencil-end eraser, or using any of a variety of other kinds of erasers.

Used to mark scriptures. Performs great, eraser is fairly soft and well suited to delicate paper.

My daughter loves drawing and these are some of her favorite. They are easy to erase,mark over with regular lead or black ink and don't show up in the copier. She requests them regularly.
