Customer Review:Tiger Micro Comp. Rice Cooker (JAX-T10U) K Stainless, 5.5 CUPS

My husband I have eaten rice all our lives. While we can buy Tiger Zojirushi brand rice cookers, we simply can't due to its (ridiculously) high prices. I was finally able to nab this at a low price (which lowered again after a week ) we agreed on and we love it! It's easy to use, the brown rice is softer but cooking time is longer.

Mostly bought this for the rice cooking and steam simultaneous option. Love this cooker. It always sits on my counter and I can leave rice in there on warm for 2 days and it's still taste good (doesn't happen often since eat rice quickly and make enough for daily consumption). The rice is fluffy but not soggy its perfect. Steamer works well for small portions even cooks meat (cut bite sized). Made yellow curry chicken with potatoe and carrots same time I cooked rice. I was blown away. Go ahead buy and try!

I've used Tiger brand from Japan growing up. Mainly use for rice cooking. coming from an Island its a must to have a product that last a long while. Relocated to the mainland so I needed a rice cooler and still Tiger is the best I. Quality and update look.. it can be pricey, but its an I vestments as it will last long and has multiple uses aside from rice cooking . A must buy if looking for a rice cooker!

We have used Tiger for long time but the newest one arrived seems lower in quality than the older ones! Plastic body and components seems cheap and the lid is not soft open either! It took almost two hours to cook 2 cups of brown rice! Frustrating

If you cook rice everyday use Tiger rice cooker. The inner pot will last longer. I liked the attached recipe book too! Highly recommended!
