Not the best from Tiger, but it gets the job done. The one thing I don't like about this cooker is that you have to soak the rice before you turn it on to cook. I think it's worth just making the investment in one of the popular white/floral ones because that will get your rice perfect every time. There was a learning curve with this one to be honest... I will continue to use this rice cooker until I absolutely need a new one though.

Bought for my mom for mothers day and she loves it. We eat rice with most meals and rice is cooked well and stays fresh longer than any cooker we have bought.

Other than the ridiculous price, this is the best rice cooker ever. Keeps rice warm and moist for at least 8 hrs.

Works great. I bought one twenty years ago. It still works fine, but the pan is scratched through tap many usages. I am glad they still make this model. I bought the one made in Japan. Everything's works great. Four stars because the outer lid does not close tightly, like a screw is loose. It's does not affect functionality now but I'm not sure about the future. With a a well known brand like Tiger, I expect better design and build.

This is NOT easy to clean however, it works well easy to use. Never had issues with my rice. I recommend this rice cooker but it takes a while to clean if you're a neat freak!

Great rice cooker except it died with less than 4 months of using it! Our last Tiger rice cooker lasted for probably 10 years! I don't know what's wrong with this one. It's made in Japan too.Great thing about Tiger is it's excellent customer service. I was able to send it into a local authorized service center to fix it because it was still under the 1 year warranty! Hope it works when we get it back.
