This set worked great. Changed the drive shaft u-joints in my excursion and this kit made it really easy. I had soaked the u-joint area with penetrating oil the day before and it came apart with minimal effort using a ratchet wrench. The press has strong magnet on the non-bolt side that helps hold it in place, great feature.

Wow the quality of these tools is amazing will last a life time for me. I change universals every two years on my work truck just two times and it will pay for these tools. They came in a nice case with foam cut outs for a snug fit. Worth every penny.

i normally dont write reviews because i believe people should try something for themselves to make up their own mind and not read something someone else said about it.<br /><br />that being said, since this is a more expensive tool kit for a very specific reason i figured i would leave it.<br />my particular vehicle was a 2006 nissan frontier, and the kit made it incredibly easy to use.<br />i did need my air compressor and 1/2 inch impact on a few of the joints.<br /><br />other than that all went smooth and well. thanks!

Awesome Tool! On the two-piece drive shafts with three U-Joint I was able to replace the middle and rear U-Joints, as per customer request, and did not have to remove the boot from the center shaft and was able to replace it right in the vehicle.
