I have had this identical watch for a few years now and I have found the watch to be sturdy and reliable. I decided to replace the watch because the band itself is difficult to replace. The loops through which you place the end of the band are the most fragile part of the watchband and the 2nd (34;floating34;) loop was the first thing to go. I find it difficult to get the stem into the proper position to change the day, which must be done for each month that does not have 31 days. I wind up just winding the hands through 24-hour cycles to advance the date. However, this is a minor consideration because the watch itself keeps good time.

Great value for $30. Lightweight and easy to read dial. I also love the 34;Indiglo34; light feature for the face. Water resistant (to normal swim depth/use) and very nice looking 34;adventure-style34;. The only (minor) drawbacks- the band it comes with pretty long (made for an adult man) and my 10yr old son's wrist was way too skinny for it to fit well. I just punched a couple more holes in the band and then cut the end shorter and singed the nylon with a match- now fits great but obviously isn't quite as 34;pretty34; as original. Also- the 34;Indiglo34; feature will deplete the battery if used a lot (which of course my son will do since it looks cool). Just expect the battery to not last as long as it would without the feature.

I had this watch for a number of years - it was my go-to travel watch because it was comfortable, light weight, waterproof, and the Indiglo dial lights up plenty bright that I can read the time in a dark tent or hotel room. It is simple and not cluttered up with altimeter, tide chart, compass, or other stuff that adds bulk and isn't all that useful anyway. I wore this watch more than my more expensive stainless dive watch or my engraved Bulova. Unfortunately, I stupidly left it in a foreign hotel room on my last trip. I will be buying a replacement after Christmas (in case I get one as a present).

Very reliable accurate time, rugged, simple and basic Just what I was looking for. I wear the same watch day in an day out and this thing takes a beating yet continues to be reliable.

Great little watch. My first is failing after several years. Too much trouble to try and change the battery. Rugged, a good time keeper. I love that it lights when the stem is pushed in. I use this feature often at night. I don't much like the band, however, with its two loops. When the band fails I move to Velcro.

It's a little too big for my wrist, but I love the fact that I can see it at night.

Serious Design Flaw I've had this watch for four months now and I hate it. The springs that hold the band to the watch body are not sturdy enough. Three times already the watch has snagged as I am taking off a jacket/sweatshirt and the band dis-attached from the watch body! On one of these occasions both bands dis-attached at the same time! Fortunately I was able to find the spring clips. I think the springs are too thin, which makes them flexible enough to bend out of the housing that contains the tips. I've been wearing watches for almost fifty years now, and have never had such an experience with a watch. However, it is a very nice looking watch.

OK! I think that I have given enough time with this watch to give an honest appraisal. Absolutely perfect function. I bought it in the middle of 2011, and it has performed flawlessly every day since then. [Today is October 3, 2017] Never lost it's accuracy, and I am on the original battery! Been backpacking, kayaking. used it daily in my job as a nurse. Been banged around and has only faint scratches on the crystal. I think the watch battery can last up to 10 years. Not sure of that! It has gone on for around 5 1/2 years thus far. Pretty darn good for $30.

Bought for my husband. He loves it. Lights up at night to see time, or walk around, even. He goes swimming with it and loves the green watchband for being casual chic, as he calls it.

It's a Timex Expedition. They're always great and reliable. They last for years and are inexpensive to replace when needed.

The watch band is rather long for a thin wrist. The end of the bank did not fit into the strap loops without force. I finally decided to trim a bit from each side to facilitate ease of moving through the loops. This watch replaced the old Expedition which I had for many years. Never had any problems with the strap.

This watch is really nice, especially for the price. It's water resistant which has really been a life saver because I forget a lot and then accidentally get it wet, and hey it's okay. The Build quality is pretty robust. I've showered with it on, swam and been in heavy rain and it holds up really well, couldn't even tell it was drenched. The analog is also simple, which I personally like. It has a classy, yet earthy feel and I dig it. Now, I gave it 4 stars because of one minor thing: It ticks really loud. I know this sounds minuscule and maybe ridiculous but when I'm laying in bed at night just trying to sleep but I honest to god can't because all I hear in not even the absolute quietness is: tick tock tick tock X forever! It drives me up the darn wall! I can't set it somewhere else because ya know, outta sight outta mind so it has to be within morning sight. Right now, I'm laying here writing this and all I hear is tick tock Tick TOck TICK TOCK...it's haunting me. But yeah, other than that it's a great watch.
