I needed an easy-to-read, durable, and reliable watch, with a sweep second hand. I'm taking an EMT class and it's hard to take vital signs with a digital watch. This one is fantastic. It's lightweight and reasonably waterproof, to boot. The only additional feature I would like is a delay on the light. The watch face lights when the stem is pushed, but shuts off immediately when released. If it were possible to set a 15-second delay on the light turning off, it would be perfect for taking vitals. But even without that, this is much easier to read when taking vitals than any other watch I've seen. There are some no-name watches that look similar, but the fact that it's a Timex reassured me that it was worth the price.

My 20 year old like this finally quit advancing the date and the plastic crystal was pretty scratched up. So I bought another. Great little watch for hunting or everyday use. So light, you don't know it's on there. I do replace the bands with rubber ones that don't absorb sweat or water. Only change I'd make is a more durable (mineral?) crystal.. Even if it added some weight cost.

Returned it. Too loud, looked cheaper in person than in photos.

I love this watch. Perfect size and fit. This is my third one I've owned. Wore the strap out before the watch quit but that took years. Bought the second one and lost it after a few months and immediately re-ordered a new one only to find the one I lost. Gave the new one to my daughter for a camping watch. She loves the light weight and how worry free it is. I will always own this watch as long as Timex makes them.

The Timex 34;Camper34; with resin case met all my requirements: Not too big (38mm diameter case). Not too heavy (1oz). Not too thick (9mm). The analog dial is easy to read. I replaced the band when the keepers failed. I replaced the battery. I wore it till it finally gave up the ghost! (approx 10 years of steady use and abuse--hiking, running, cycling, shinkendo.) Lived up the Timex motto.

The watch itself is great. The only problem I had was the band broke, a metal piece on the band broke. I can't find a band like it anywhere so that sucks.

I bought this for my husband for father's day. He loves it. The numbers are big so you can see what time it is easily. He likes the feel of the band. Much lighter than a stretch band.

Strap is lacking... snags when trying to install or remove.
