These suspenders were exactly what i was looking for. Most suspenders come at the 1 1/2 width which is a bit like being strapped into a parachute with all of the elastic covering your chest. i just wanted something simple and understated which would hold my pants up without a belt. These are perfect for that. They'll work with any outfit (black) and usually i wear mine with work pants or jeans, a henley or t-shirt and i'm done. They don't pop off when I'm out in the garden or doing a lot of reaching or bending down so the clips seem to work fine. I'll update this after I've had them a few more months. Great purchase and the right price.

I saw these and they reminded me of the 80's!! ( You girls know what I'm talking about.)These are perfect! The clips are sturdy the width is just right.( for me anyway). They go perfect with my white T-shirt and boyfriend jeans! Love love love

It's perfect i love it and I have all of them now they came pretty fast way better quality then those hot topic piece of junk my first i bought is about a couple years old still works brand new. If it gets dirty put it in a pillow case tie it trow it in the wash air dry it and bamm :)

My husband likes the skinny suspenders. He wears them under his shirts, so the smaller ones, are more comfortable. This is his second pair. The clip will wear out. But he feels for the price and daily wear, they are worth the money.

The clips dig in to your back. The clips are very heavy duty, but the way they are made, they kind of rub you, near the belt line. Maybe because I didn't have a shirt tucked in, I wore the shirt out over them. Just a minor discomfort, I would buy another pair, the price was good.

careful with delicate fabrics. The adjustable length buckles have burrs which catch on knits, polyester, etc. Might want to wrap tape around them. I used a small file which helped some.
