Tie is red, not burgundy.Excellent quality tie, however.If you're planning on using this for your eleventh doctor costume, get red suspenders to match.

If you're buying this item for anything more than a costume, I would go with a real bowtie. I bought this because it was cheap, and for what I needed, it's fine. However, when I opened it, there was already a very minor fray. It's not going to get heavy use from me, so I'm not concerned. This item is 3 pieces, and not a genuine bowtie. It's made of a red bow, red ribbon around the center, and a 3rd piece of ribbon that is adjustable that goes around your neck. It's very basic, and low grade material.

Just what we needed to replace a band uniform tie. Arrived quickly and as expected. Good quality for price and will do the job nicely.

The band is thin and flimsy, and the clip is the cheapest, most rubbishy plastic I can imagine. It feels like the clip is going to break every time I fasten or unfasten it. Don't be taken in by the low price, you can find much better than this for only a few dollars more.

Tie is shiny black looks cheap. Could not use it, so I bought another. Would suggest that youi not buy it.

I bought this for my Daughter, because she is a Dr Who fan. I got the adult size because she is 15. She told me it was to big. But her mom is good about fixing that kind of stuff...

I purchased this because I am a Whovian and like any other Whovian this was a must have. I do not cosplay with it, I just wear it around some days when I feel especially silly.The bow tie has an adjustable strap to wrap around your neck.The only Con about this is when worn the bow tends to tilt forward, not quite straight. Perhaps I need to tighten the strap??

Fun bowtie, just as the vendor described it. Color is more Cranberry than an actual burgundy or maroon. Will work just fine.

So this is the kind of bow tie I was looking for,to give to a friend who is obsessed with them . It had such a beautiful dark color.(the picture is not deceiving) and it's nice and silky. Its one of those products which you can reuse and never get tired. Its elegant and just amazing.

I bought this to go with my Eleventh Doctor costume for Comicon. It is perfect for this cosplay. I've seen other bowties for Eleven advertised for $30+, which is ridiculous in my opinion. This bowtie is great and very affordable!
