These aren't made from a very heavy-duty material; however, they have held up well for over a year. With this set I got two of each variety. I ended up cutting one of each tie shorter for my son to wear. Because the material is so slick (and a little on the shiny side), the knot doesn't stay extremely tight. I find myself having to tighten the knot several times throughout the day. Overall, a good product.

I like the print, but the the tie is too skinny for my taste. I would love it if the tie was wider.

Be aware, OpenTip charges you shipping and handling, then if you don't like the item, they charge you 20% restocking fee.After getting this very unwearable at work tie, I returned it. I think all told, I spent $15 to have nothing. They obviously undercut the cost of the product so they don't have to give much money back.The tie:OMG, it's shiny. Like, practically reflective. The photo makes it seem like it would have a texture... the texture is shiny.The fabric is thin, so it slides around and bunches as you try to tie it.The shape of the tie is such that when you tie it, you can see all the loops. The knot cannot get big enough to be a nice looking knot.If you want a cute black/white plaid tie, go elsewhere.

Love it. It is exactly what I want. It isn't as thick. Looks more like a teens tie than an adult male. But overall I would still wear it proudly.

Just as it was pictured and was everything I wanted in a tie..I haven't really found anything to go with it yet but it works well if I've run out of ties or something..If you think it looks cool, buy it, bc it is cool

This is honestly the third tie review I've written... How many ties did I buy?Anyway, not to get 'tied' up in babbling, this tie is just as I expected.. It's stripped.. It's black and white... It's not a fish and not a space heater.. It's a tie and that's all I can say. I love it.

I really do love this tie. It was super cheap, and the delivery seemed instant! It is extraordinarily skinny, just a heads up, but it fits my thin build. The material is pretty decent, but amazing for the price. I used this tie to try out something called an, Ediety Knot, and I was very pleased with the look. If you're looking for a casual tie, (if there is such thing) this takes the cake! But if you're looking for something to wear to meet someone with high status, I would purchase something much more expensive. Hope this helped!

This tie is smooth to the touch, and strong. My girlfriend keeps pulling me around by it, and no tearing. It even has a slight shine to it.

The tie looks nice and is good for the price. If you want a sharp looking tie, you will need to pay more but for everyday business use, this works well and looks great. The fabric holds up well.
