Mission: The Topeka Rescue Mission is a homeless shelter which has served Topeka, Kansas for more than 60 years. TRM is dedicated to providing food, shelter, clothing, training and hope to homeless and impoverished men, women and children. In 2020, despite the challenges from Covid-19, TRM sheltered 1278 different men, women and children, and outreached to more than 1100 people living outdoors. We provided more than 368,055 meals to those in our shelters and across the community. Additionally, through a new partnership with USDA's Farmers 2 Families program, TRM and over 80 community partners distributed over 2 million pounds of fresh produce, milk and dairy products, and protein to families across an 8 county area.  (Less)
