After using it for a few days, It's made of plastic and can hold about fifty balls, so you'll need to bring a bag for more.

Plastic is a bit weak when training high level players as can brake it with one hit . Otherwise it's perfectly fine

As stated in the headline, this is a great hopper. It holds 60 tennis balls, not 85 or 90. I detected confusion from other customers because there is more than one hopper available. I like the plastic cage over the metal because I live in Florida and metal tends to corrode. The hopper is sturdy when upright if the handles are properly engaged. I like being able to lay the hopper on it's side in the car without spilling tennis balls. The only downside is with the assembly instructions. They could be more clear. But that hassle lasts for only a little while.

It's really helpful and we love it. I wish we could afford more than two at same time.

1. Soon I open the box, broken piece comes out first (but too lazy to replace and wait so keeping it. Plus was able to assemble with not too much of a deal.)2. everything was good to assemble but the wheel set up was a little annoying but not bad.3. The 4 bars that goes on the top and bottom is weaker than expected.4. Overall you get what you pay for so not bad.

Put wheels on first as recommended in other reviews, definitely need little hands / Fingers to put small bolts and nuts in place. Import not get side pieces upside down. Snapped together fairly easily. Don't bother using electric screwdriver or drill since all the screws and bolts are very small and don't require that many turns. Put top and bottom rods in before screwing down the corners of the frame. Screws into frames went in easily, but I was careful not to over torque since I was screwing into plastic.

If you want to hit serve after serve or just practice your hitting, this is what you need. You can get a hell of a workout just empty out this basket on both sides of court.

I have been using this hopper for a month and I from the moment I finished building I have been loving this hopper! It is designed to help you pick up balls and it is plastic so it's a lot lighter than the metal hoppers out there. Do have the Gamma and Wilson metal hoppers and actually prefer this hopper over the other two. Assembly is very easy, make sure you read the instructions and install the wheels on first before you put the box together. They do put that as the first step for a reason :P It's very sturdy for plastic, and a lot easier to switch to standing mode to carry/pick up mode than the Wilson. My Wilson actually fell apart because the metal is really thin and flimsy and the welding is really bad, so there were parts that fell off and I had to MacGyver it back together. I finally gave up and got this hopper, and to be honest I was very skeptical because the plastic element, but it has been a wonderful addition to my tennis accessories. A side note, I thought I would never utilize the wheels, but I find myself being relieved that I can roll my hopper over to pick up balls. Especially, after going through a couple full hoppers of drills and serve practice. Metal hoppers aren't that heavy, but overtime, have that lightweight carrier with wheels can make the difference between, okay let's call it a day, or let's go through one more.

I had to take a tennis break before I could assemble. Last week when I opened the package, it is missing the top and bottom bars and the bar to fit between wheels.I am already about 11 months since I bought the product so can't complain.

Simple is better. I bought this 3 years ago and I bought a new one as the other has so much wear and tear. Very strong, efficient and easy to use. Assemble everything except do not put on the 2 rods on top. Life is easier is the top is open easy to pick up balls. Long term the metal handle will be used so much it will be rusted. For all avid tennis players and teachers, we use this all the time. no need to buy expensive stuff to make your game better.
