Easy install and it work well. FYI, I had power ran for install prior to ordering this.

It works well. I like the remote feature. It allows you to drop the anchor from the steering wheel when you locate fish on structure.

Good unit so far. Auto deploy works great. If you use auto deploy you get no tangles in rope.Directions say if using longer distance then ten feet of supplied wire then cut and replace supplied wire with size bigger 10 size wire.Why they don't just supply 35 feet of 10 size wire and charge $20 more I don't know.I bought two reals red/black of 30 foot 10 size wire plus new wire connectors and heat shrink. Don't forget to use breaker/fuse from original wire on battery positive terminal.30 foot upgraded wire was just enough to wire from front of boat to rear battery on 22 foot pontoon boat. Took 3.5 hours to install.I Put a 20 pound anchor on it. So far works good.FYI SUPPLIED BATTERY IN REMOTE CONTROL CAME WEAK. Would not run unit, pausing while going up and down with remote. Saw other reviews complaining about wireless remote intermittently going up. It's the battery In remote.Bought a new $8 name brand battery for remote and works great. Battery is a funny battery that no one has local. Order two new battery at least, one a spare. Battery is a number A27 12 volt. Also would not put over 25 pound anchor on it using a short shaft anchor. Over all very happy so far!

First winch I have purchased. It is easy to install although I had to splice in abou 8 ft of wire to mount on front of my 16 foot bass buggy. I think it's a bit slow on retrieval but so far, it's working

I purchased this refurbished, it was a good discount because of it and very pleased. I could not see that it was ever used, looked perfect. I installed it easily and it works great. Very pleased with this purchase as I often fish from my boat alone and the remote makes it easy to drop or pull up the anchor from anywhere on the boat. Great product

It is real nice to have this. Just drop the anchor and pull up the anchor at the touch of a button a nice luxury to have with your boat so far it's worked out really well.

Always hated having to move people around to get the anchor stored under the seats in my pontoon boat, and having to untangle the rope and manually lower and raise the anchor. Now, I just press a button and it's done. I use it multiple times a week and have had it for three years without a single problem. The only thing I could complain about is that the included wiring is too short for a 25 foot pontoon boat.

Camco Manufacturing are amazing! I misplaced the wireless remote and called them to see if I could buy a replacement. They wouldn't sell it to me but offered to replace it under warranty. How great is that!The product works beautifully. I paired it with a 30 lb mushroom style river anchor that slots right up into the windlass until it is horizontal. It's a beautiful thing!

Installed this 35 pound winch on my 20 ft pontoon with double biminis. It pulls up my 30 lb. anchor without much effort. I would recommend to all who are tired of dropping and pulling up anchors. The auto deploy works as described. I installed in front, but the wire length was short 3ft to my battery in the rear. So, I spliced a few ft of wire to complete the install.

To much play between roller and side bracket, allows rope to snag on retrieval. I installed 2 on my pontoon.Both have the same issue. When this happens I have to take the Pontoon out of the water to unsnag the rope.

This anchor seems to be a good value. I've only used it a few times. No problems.I have a 25 lb. anchor on it and it pulls it out of the mud, but it does struggle at the beginning.

Worked twice and then one day it decided to deploy the anchor on its own - then I had to pull the line and anchor up by myself because it wouldn't retrieve under any pressure.

Buyer beware!... bought this for my Triton 18tx. It didn't last but a summer. I would be driving at slow speed and the dang thing would just drop for no reason at all. The last time i deployed it the motor just quit causing me to have to pull the anchor up by hand . Not worth the money
