The taste reminds me of black licorice, but if you need to take a super-dookie you should post through the taste. The smaller suggested timeframe for soaking the tea bag has always 'done the job' for me. I like that there's an all natural option to help with constipation as opposed to the pharma route. Definitely recommend.

The first night I took 1 and nothing. Second night I took two and I ended up in an ambulance headed to the ER. I thought I was going to die. Head to toe sweats, worst stomach pain I've ever experienced, throwing up, and I ended up being so dehydrated the nurses couldn't even find a vein to give me fluids. I had a similar (but less aggressive) experience with a different OTC stimulant constipation drug. I think Senna, the main ingredient in this is a stimulant.About 4hrs after living through hell and after 20min of arriving at the ER I was able to go. It was an absolutely horrible experience. I will say it again - I thought I was dying. I would take explosive diarrhea over this any day. I gave this 4 stars because it clearly works but if you are at all sensitive to stimulant constipation meds, take with caution.

If you suffer from constipation get these!!! I normally drink the tea but since I'm always on the go I needed something that I can grab and go and these are my new best friends. I seriously feel like I lost a good 6 lbs sitting on the toilet and stomach was instantly un bloated. I live by these pills and so glad I found them.

I had surgery a week ago and been having problems going 2. I tried Miralax and that kind of got things moving but not enough. Took two tablets last night and went bathroom twice this morning and i feel so much better. It was smooth sailing! So glad i tried this product.

Take you tea at night, hydrate well and you'll have a smooth, minimal cramping bowel movement in the morning before you head out the door. There is also a pill form available. Price is great for the size you'll get. Taste good, there are also other flavors. when I don't want tea, I add the teabag to my coffee and the taste doses trump my coffee taste.

I haven't been able to go 2 probably for a week, poor eating on my part, yet a dear friend of mine gave me the tea form years ago I assumed at the time of purchasing this product that it had worked. What normally happens when you assume? (You make an ______, of you me). Direction said for max take (3) capsule, I gulped them down with some water. About 2hrs went by I had the urge to push but nothing came out except my inflamed hemorrhoids. All I felt was some cramping gurgling noise from my stomach, again feeling like I had to go but to no avail. If you're in dire need haven't been able to go 2 for as long as I have, take my mother's advice I wish I had before wasting my $$ on this product. Just give yourself or ask a loved one to assist you with a suppository. The fleet I gave myself stated it would give relief within 15mins - 1hr. True to its word I was able to have some type of bowl movement w/20mins. It severely hurt but something finally came out with the suppository. When I finally woke up 5 hrs later, my hemorrhoids were no longer protruding out, no more cramping, 2 came out like water, but it was the relief I desperately needed to at least feel normal.

I have tried a lot of prescribed laxatives to help me poo on a regular basis; everything had weird side effects. Finally my doctor recommended this tea. It worked but, god I hate the flavor. I Was so happy when I found the capsules. 2 before bed with a good amount of water and after my morning coffee I am pooping normal.

Bought this product to alleviate constipation caused by meds after surgery. Took them at bedtime and the next day I was able to go to the bathroom with ease. It caused a little cramping but nothing major.

I have cauda equina syndrome from spinal surgery. My biggest complication is with constipation. I have tried everything. Every single OTC medication out there, none of it works. This combined with drinking OJ regularly (and cutting out most dairy) is the only thing that helps.

I have chronic issues with constipation. Now, I've been a little distracted prepping for vacation so I didn't notice that I purchased the capsules instead of the tea.I also didn't read the reviews which suggested ONE would be enough. I took THREE. Two hours later I'm making a deal with god to please let me live and not let me die on the toilet with exploded intestines.I am no longer constipated so 5 stars.
